The Songwriters
The songwriter is the heart of a song.
At the start of every million-selling single, every Madonna, every video you see on TV are the songwriters. Without the songwriters, there would not be any "club bumping beats," "chest pumping ballads," or "guitar rock gods."
The songwriters are my heroes (Lennon/McCartney, Bacharach, Bono/TheEdge, Sondheim, Cole Porter, Max Martin, Martin Gore, etc., etc.) It is the purest form of complete artistry; where words, music, live performance, musicianship, poetry connect.
I accept the challenge of writing & producing different styles and to create a visual video experience for each song. Songwriting, direction, production and singing are the result of hard work and the passion for music. I want to be proud of the product I create. But at the core of me, I am a songwriter. I claim this title with pride.
